American Heart Association - BLS Basic Life Support Provider Renewal Course (Online Exam/Classroom) - Hawaii Heart Foundation Office

Course Description:

  • This course is geared towards renewing healthcare professionals (included but not limited to prehospital providers, EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, etc) and those who must know how to perform basic cardiovascular life support skills and CPR. 

Requirements:

  • BLS online exam should be completed prior to in-person BLS classroom/skills session. Your link is sent in your confirmation email upon registration. If you decide to add-on First Aid you will receive an additional online link.

Course Completion Card:

  • Upon successful completion, you will receive an AHA BLS course completion card valid for 2 years. 

 

Optional: If you would like to complete the BLS Heartcode Online in addition to the BLE online exam, please contact us. This is not required for BLS renewals, but can be purchased separately.

 

Notice: In accordance with American Heart Association guidelines, a minimum of three students are required to hold this class. If we do not have at least three students registered we may need to cancel the class to remain compliant. Should this occur, we will notify you as soon as possible. 

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA. 

You will need to bring your completed online certificate in order to attend the skills and testing portion of the course and receive your course completion card. There are new 2025 guidelines, you need to have a 2025 student manual. We also offer options for first aid kits for yourself or your pet. Please add on anything of interest and pick up your new items at our office.

📍 Parking

We’re located in the large AIPA building near Honolulu Airport. There are several ways to access the building, so please watch our driving directions or walking directions before you arrive.

As a reminder, parking is available, but not validated. A QR code will be provided in the classroom. Be sure to note your stall number and license plate—you’ll need both to pay for parking.
