Course Description:
- This course is geared towards renewing healthcare professionals (included but not limited to prehospital providers, EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, etc) and those who must know how to perform basic cardiovascular life support skills and CPR.
Requirements:
- BLS online exam should be completed prior to in-person BLS classroom/skills session. Your link is sent in your confirmation email upon registration. If you decide to add-on First Aid you will receive an additional online link.
Course Completion Card:
- Upon successful completion, you will receive an AHA BLS course completion card valid for 2 years.
Optional: If you would like to complete the BLS Heartcode Online in addition to the BLE online exam, please contact us. This is not required for BLS renewals, but can be purchased separately.
Notice: In accordance with American Heart Association guidelines, a minimum of three students are required to hold this class. If we do not have at least three students registered we may need to cancel the class to remain compliant. Should this occur, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Because this is the 3rd year of the 2020 guidelines, we assume you already have a 2020 BLS student manual. However, if you would like another copy, please click the add-on for an e-book version or a hard copy of the AHA 2020 student manual. We also offer options for first aid kits for yourself or your pet. Please add on anything of interest and pick up your new items at our office.
